Connectivity to standard installation and bus systems

Modbus, EnOcean, conventional installation or KNX: the optimal wiring method depends on the conditions of the building and the needs of the user. Thanks to the flexible installation concept, you will benefit from all technical possibilities and innovations in the future. The independence from the programming standards and the wiring method assures that the house and the technology will be able to change together with the occupants. In every stage of life, all options follow the changing needs.

Currently, the following interfaces are supported:
Direct connection to the myGEKKO via USB-RS485
With myGEKKO DMX Node LAN-DMX REG mounting

Beckhoff

The myGEKKO Beckhoff Interface allows you to integrate the Beckhoff coupler and the IO modules in the myGEKKO concept.

The bus terminal system is the universal interface between a field bus system and the sensor / actuator level. A unit consists of a bus coupler as head station, and up to 64 electronic series terminals, the last one being an end terminal.

Currently, the following interfaces are supported:
You can connect 2 couplers to the myGEKKO.
  • Beckhoff BK7000 series (connection via RS 485)
  • Beckhoff BK9000 series (connection via LAN/TCP)

LCN

The myGEKKO LCN interface allows to integrate LCN bus components in the myGEKKO concept.

The myGEKKO is able to receive several input signals as well as to send output signals. The connections e.g. between the buttons and the lights can be created with myGEKKO and modified at any time.

Connection via RIO29 or RIO37 to the port AUX1 RS485 or AUX2.

myGEKKO & Phoenix Contact

The bus coupler is the interface between the Modbus-RTU/AS-CII system and the Inline installation system.

With the bus coupler you can connect up to 61 Inline terminals to an existing Modbus-RTU/ASCII system. The bus coupler and the Inline terminals form a station with max. 63 local bus nodes. It is possible to operate up to 8 PCP nodes on the bus coupler.

Currently, the following interfaces are supported:
Modbus RTU/ASCII via RS-485 for Modbus directly to the myGEKKO

M-Bus

M-Bus (Meter-Bus) is a field bus for consumption data acquisition.

The transmission is made serially on a reverse polarity protected two-wire line from the connected slaves to a master. In this case, the master is the myGEKKO Slide. All counter values are securely saved in the M-Bus slaves, i.e. in the energy meters. In case of power outage there is no loss of data.
