The duration will depend on that of the agreements concluded between the parties, on the legal document retention period (e.g. art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code) and on the prescription period of possible legal claims (e.g. art. 2946 and 2947 of the Italian Civil Code).

Personal data will only be processed upon your given consent. You have no legal obligation to provide your personal data. However, in the case of non-provision, we may not be able to deal with your request.

Purpose of data processing:
Our customer advisors or delegated persons will use your personal data solely on the basis and for the processing of your request.

Your personal data are processed on your request in order to fulfil contractual purposes or implement pre-contractual measures (art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Data transfer to third parties
Quotation requests will be forwarded to our local Solution Partners (partner workshops) for processing. Our external service providers are contractually obliged to comply with the data protection rules.

Transfer of personal data to third countries:
To manage your data, we rely, inter alia, on the services of Pipedrive EU.
Basically, your data will be processed in European data centers. In case of maintenance procedures and technical support, your personal data could be transmitted to the third country USA. In order to ensure adequate protection of your data in such cases as well, we have signed an agreement with Pipedrive EU based on EU-standard contractual clauses, which obliges the provider to guarantee an EU-compliant data protection level.

11. B. NEWSLETTER

Collected data:
When you subscribe our newsletter, we collect and process the data you provide to us. This may include your name and your e-mail address.
The newsletters which contain the technologies provided by Mailjet.com use tracking technologies. These technologies give us the possibility to determine whether the email has been opened and which links you click.

Consequences of non-submittal of personal data:
Personal data will only be processed upon your given consent. You have no legal obligation to provide your personal data. However, in the case of non-provision, we may not be able to send you the newsletter.

Purpose of data processing:
We process your personal data in order to send you the newsletter.

Legal basis:
We process your personal data only with your given consent (art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) in order to provide information about specific topics and promotional messages via electronic mail. We therefore rely on the so-called "double opt-in" process, in which you are sent, after subscribing a newsletter on our websites, a so-called confirmation mail containing a registration link. The e-mails containing alarm messages, camera recordings etc. are sent via the myGEKKO server. For the correct functioning of this service we temporarily store your connection details, your IP address, your user name and the destination e-mail address.

myGEKKO Plus Support:
For the use of the myGEKKO Plus Support service the following applies:
The Support team and the Solution Partner may need to access your device to carry out the technical maintenance. For this purpose, you have to generate a random password. You can control the external access and the access time. For the correct functioning of this service, we temporarily store your connection details, your location, your IP address and your user name on our servers. During the access time, the technical support employee has full access to your device and can read and change several settings. The setting change may be required for the support service and is carried out in consultation with the employee.

myGEKKO Plus Weather:
For the use of the myGEKKO Plus Weather service the following applies:
For this service we rely on several external weather services. These services only receive anomymized data, therefore it will not be possible for them to draw conclusions about your location. For the correct functioning of this service we temporarily store your connection details, your location, your IP address and your user name on our servers.

myGEKKO Live Web:
For the use of the myGEKKO Live Web service the following applies:
We use the myGEKKO server for the quick access to your device. For the correct functioning of this service, we temporarily store your connection details, your IP address and your user name on our servers. We don’t have access to your device. Your password will be stored in our servers in encrypted form.

myGEKKO Live Viewer:
For the use of the myGEKKO Live Viewer service the following applies:
We use the myGEKKO server for the remote access to your device. For the correct functioning of this service we temporarily store your connection details, your IP address and your user name. We don’t have access to your device. Your password will be stored in our servers in encrypted form.

myGEKKO Query Api:
For the use of the myGEKKO Query API service the following applies:
